A practice member’s daughter is embarking on an effort to raise funds for the Me to We foundation in support of Free The Children with a trip to Ecuador this summer.

Through the sale of hand made scarves made by Mary-Joyce Sim and bracelets made by Ecuadorian women, Mary-Joyce hopes to raise awareness as well as funds. She intends to empower, teach and make connections with the people that she will encounter in Ecuador.

Mary-Joyce says, “Free The Children has inspired me to take on the life changing experience of stepping outside my community and into another by travelling abroad, to dedicate 2 weeks to learning the cultures of Ecuador, building a school, spreading knowledge and most of all interacting with the beautiful people that reside in Ecuador.”
